Throughout the 1970s, our Mechanical Interference Fit (MIF) system gradually became recognized as a value alternative to welding carbon steel pipelines. Beginning with water lines and steadily graduating with approvals for hydrocarbon products in oil and gas field gathering networks, mainly in Texas, USA. Our system was laying the right-of-way to engage commercially with traditional welding methods of pipeline construction.

AGODCO ACQUIRES THE ASSET AND NAVIGATES THE FUTURE

When the International energy shipping company AGODCO Group acquired the company, it rebranded “Sure” to “Stealth” and charted the course for international outreach and development. Recognizing that global success could only come from multi-million dollar investment in Research & Development and revalidation offering the Stealth-Lock Technology to all major oil and gas operators of the world.

STEALTH LANDS TO DEVELOP BAHRAIN’S AWALI FIELD

To redevelop the Bahrain mature Awali field, the Bahrain Government formed a new Joint Venture company, “Tatweer Petroleum” owned by OXY, Mubadala Petroleum and Noga Holdings. The challenge? To increase oil production by drilling new wells, implementing new technologies such as Stealth-Lock pipeline construction and testing advanced Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) pilots. With over 350km of new gathering network constructed in 14 months, Stealth-Lock set the course for Middle East expansion.

Stress Engineering Services based in Houston, Texas is a renowned leader in mechanical testing of; force, load, tension, pressure, fatigue, temperature, HPHT, noise, vibration, torque, strain, creep, and displacement. Under the Stealth-Lock revalidation program, we engaged with Stress Engineering in a combined effort to improve upon and validate the performance of the Stealth-Lock Mechanical Interference Fit technology.

SouthWest Research Institute (SwRI), campus (inset picture) in San Antonio, Texas, is one of the oldest and largest independent, nonprofit, applied research and development organizations in the United States. Founded in 1947, SwRI provides independent testing, analysis and reporting to Stealth-Lock, aligned with our continued objectives to Research and Develop our technology. Stealth-Lock landed in San Antonio to align with SwRI who have been actively serving the needs of our pipeline industry for over 30 years.

Working with PDO under the National Objective Program, Stealth-Lock demonstrates its Corporate Social Responsibility and invests in the ethos of “Localisation”. Our eleven Omani national candidates spent 12 months studying and training for their NVQ Level 2 certification. The Oman Undersecretary of Oil & Gas, H.E. ABU DHABI: STEALTH SIGNS UP AWARD WINNING OGASCO

H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, awards one of Abu Dhabi’s foremost engineering and contracting services companies, OGASCO. In keeping with its Global Reach strategy, AGODCO inks the deal with OGASCO, to act on its behalf as facilitating agent for the Stealth-Lock technology in Abu Dhabi oil concessions.
